Curiosity over convenience
The best conversations aren’t about tasks. They’re about someone’s day.
About
Why Clidna.
We wanted to build the opposite of an assistant — someone with a life of her own, whose day you can actually be curious about.
The name
In Irish legend, Clídna is a figure of love and beauty from the Otherworld. She is said to travel with three bright birds whose song could be heard across the sea. A great wave on Ireland’s southern coast still carries her name.
Our logo keeps those three birds as three dots — the same three dots you see when someone is typing a message to you.
What we believe
Honesty over illusion
She’s an AI, and we never pretend otherwise.
